A three (3) star hotel located in the Eastern Region requires the services of a PUBLIC AREA CLEANER
DUTIES, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and maintain all hotel public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators,staircases, public restrooms, lounges, offices, and back-of-house areas.
- Sweep, mop, polish, vacuum, and shampoo floors, carpets, and upholstery as required.
- Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, doors, windows, and handrails.
- Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Clean and sanitize public restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies such as soap, tissue, and hand towels.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged property to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and machines safely and correctly.
- Maintain proper storage and cleanliness of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and setup for events or functions when required.
- Ensure hotel policies on hygiene, safety, security, and guest confidentiality.
- Ability to work on varied hours/days, including weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Must have at least BECE or SSSCE/WASSCE from a recognized institution.
- Having customer service training and other skills set will be an advantage.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must have minimum work experience of 2years in a Hotel environment.
- Must have a high degree of honesty and integrity.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a strong work ethic.
