Job Responsibilities
Food Preparation:
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Assemble and cook meals with a focus on health-conscious ingredients and cooking methods.
Cooking:
- Operate kitchen equipment such as toaster and blenders.
- Follow cooking procedures to ensure food safety and quality.
- Monitor food during cooking to ensure proper temperature and consistency.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all food items are prepared and served to the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
- Check ingredients for freshness and proper storage.

Sanitation and Safety:
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
- Regularly sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.
- Communicate effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
Inventory Management:
- Assist in managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the Supervisor.
Any other assigned task
Qualifications & Documents
- High School Certificate or HND or Diploma in Catering and Hospitality/Food and Nutrition.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
