A reputable restaurant located in the Savannah Regional Capital Damongo, is seeking for an experience CHEF to join our team! As a Head Chef, He/She will be responsible for preparing delicious, Nutritious and hygienic meals (both local and continental) for our clients.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and cook meals (both local and continental) dishes including appetizer, main courses, and desserts, using classic and modern cooking techniques and dietary requirements

Develop new recipes and refine existing ones in collaboration with the management to meet high culinary standards.

Collaborate with management to plan menus, manage inventory, and control food costs

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace and dining areas Comply with standard policies, health and safety regulations, sanitation and food handling standards.

Oversee kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Ensure all food served meets the establishment's quality standards, taste, and presentation expectations.

Manage inventory, order supplies, and control waste to ensure cost efficient operations.

Required Skills
-
Degree/HND/Diploma in Hotel Catering, Hotel and Institutional Management /Culinary training from a recognised institution
-
5 years or above of experience as a chef in a similar setting.

Strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and creativity.
-
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Good communication and time management skills.
