Responsibilities:

    • Weekly clarification for local resources of actions and dependencies for new service launches (functional, nonfunctional and operational).
    • Weekly prioritisation with MPS Delivery Squads to facilitate business requirements into functional and technical delivery activities for local resources.
    • Acceleration of relevant local regulatory, fraud, risk and security resource engagement. Reduced transfer delay and friction in the service delivery approach.
    • Definitions of ‘Done’ for service acceptance criteria in all project stages, programme outputs and project deliverables delivered into the Market.
    • Delivery and alignment to plans of work estimates, quotations and plans for project delivery from local stakeholders.
    • Market representation, support and guidance within MPS’s gated delivery and Agile processes.

    • Weekly escalation of Market based risks to MPS programme management for Programme wide impact reduction.
    • Strengthened Market communication plan (feedback loop, scheduled communications / reporting, issue escalation) with local Engineering, Commercial and Ops teams to identify local Market changes and enable Market support for Core Delivery Programmes
    • Attend regular MPS and Market governance meetings.
    • Deliver a ‘service mentality’ and ‘collaboration approach’ in relationships between MPS and markets.
    • Identification and drive of local process, product or service improvements to maximise delivery capability.
    • Identify synergies to reduce fragmentation and friction between MPS funded and local Market teams.
    • Influence existing market standards, processes and procedures and facilitate the generation of ideas from the team members.
    • Agree, develop and manage communications plan for key MPS and Market stakeholders to mitigate upstream risks and delays due to poor dependency management and resource availability.
    • Escalation of issues and Risks to the delivery squads, scrum masters and MPS Programme Managers to support the resolution of issues in a timely manner.

Lead business development:

  • Driving strategic partnerships with financial institutions.
  • Leading commercial negotiations together with Commercial Head and JV team.
  • Maintaining and enhancing relationships with strategic partners.

Lead product management:

  • Leading the deployment of new financial products across consumers and merchants.
  • Leading pilots of the products.
  • Leading full-scale launch.
  • Coordinating marketing and operational activities.

Manage the financial products offered:

  • Ensuring commercial targets are met.
  • Ensuring value propositions are aligned to consumer needs.
  • Driving changes to product if needed.

Lead product development:

  • Designing new financial products in collaboration with JV team.
  • Developing business cases for new products.
  • Driving MVP creation and piloting.

Support technical build:

  • Liaising with technical team on technical build of products.
  • Helping facilitate integrations with financial partners.
  • Supporting regulatory approvals and risk / compliance management.

Responsibilities:

  • To understand and document the essential components of core networks provided and their associated change control processes and SLA’s.
  • To understand and document the essential components of the local market networks and their associated change control processes and SLA’s.
  • To use the above to be able to design end to end network changes in order to support the creation of new application services.
  • To be able to effect network changes either hands on, through change process or by directing others .
  • To be able to test and sign off network changes performed for projects
  • To understand network availability and performance monitoring and ensure that best practice is applied in these areas to ensure the continuity and safety of services.
  • To understand network security including VPNs, certificates and encryption mechanisms and how they can be applied for safe communication of data.
  • To identify areas where security or other attributes could be improved and use exception and risk logs to track their improvements.
