About Fresh Drops:

Fresh Drops is a premium bottled water brand launching in Ghana, with an expansion into the Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) category by Q2 2026. We are building a lean, high-performance team to drive a disruptive market entry focused on quality and scalable distribution.

Role Overview:

As Head of HR, you will design and implement the people strategy for a fast-moving startup environment. This hands-on, part-time role (~20–25 hours/week) will establish HR systems, lead recruitment, build culture, and ensure compliance during pre-launch and scale-up.

You will partner closely with the Project Consultant, General Manager (Ryan), CFO, and Supply Director to align talent with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build HR infrastructure: policies, org structure, performance framework, payroll setup.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment: sales reps, factory staff, marketing, and leadership pipeline (20+ hires by Feb 2026).
  • Onboard and train new hires (factory, field, office) with brand immersion and safety protocols.
  • Design compensation, benefits, and incentive structures (aligned with FMCG benchmarks).
  • Ensure labor law compliance (GRA, SSNIT, factory regulations) and manage contractor agreements.
  • Foster startup culture: team engagement, values alignment, conflict resolution.
  • Track HR metrics: time-to-hire, retention, cost-per-hire, diversity.
  • Support transition from contract to permanent structure post-launch.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 8+ years in HR leadership within FMCG, manufacturing, or startups (beverage/F&B ideal).
  • Proven experience scaling teams from 0–50+ during product launches.
  • Hands-on with recruitment, payroll, and compliance in Ghana.
  • Strong network with training institutes, labor offices, and recruitment agencies in Accra.
  • Bachelor’s in HR, Business, or related; CHRP/SHRM a plus.
  • Data-driven, pragmatic, and comfortable in ambiguous environments.
  • Available to start immediately; hybrid in Accra with factory presence 1–2 days/week.
  • Passion for building high-performance teams in consumer brands.
