About the job
The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organisation on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organisation's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop human resource plans for the organisation in accordance with the strategic objectives of the organisation.
- Identify future leaders and assess their talent development needs.
- Monitor and manage development plans for staff and identify training needs and resources to improve performance.
- Recruit high-calibre candidates for the organization
- Put in place mechanisms to retain high-performing staff, by working with respective unit heads
- Work with managers and staff to determine their training needs in alignment with the development needs of the organisation.
- Work with management staff to develop and implement appropriate training for employees
- Ensure all methods of practice and/or work performance conform to established written policies and procedures
- Work with management and staff to build and maintain an appropriate workplace culture
- Work with management to ensure staff welfare and mental health
- Conduct needs assessment to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a good first degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
- A Master's Degree in Human Resources Management would be an advantage
- At least a minimum of 5 years plus experience as an HR Manager
- A professional qualification in HR is essential
- Good knowledge of the Ghana Labour laws.
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise in training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
