Job Description
The Lodge is about to open a mini restaurant that will cater for its guests and walk-in clients.
We are looking for a competent Caterer who will stay at the premises and join a small core staff to handle our food preparation activities.
Specific Roles
- Check and make requisition for items for stocking.
- Procurement of materials for the kitchen.
- Plan and prepare menu
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensured staff efficiency.
- Prepare a variety of dishes according to hotel menus and specific guest preferences.

Required Skills or Experience
- Knowledge of local and continental dishes is required.
- Basic pastry skills will be an advantage.
- Skills in preparation of continental and American breakfast.
- Knowledge of hygiene practices and food safety standards for food preparation and handling.
- Multi-tasking to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
- Ability to develop new recipes and presenting dishes in an appealing manner.
