We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and sales, with a proven ability to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, and deliver tailored asset management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Closing:
- Identify, generate, and nurture leads across the entire asset management lifecycle.
- Develop tailored proposals and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact during the sales cycle.
Technical Expertise:
- Understand clients' technical and operational needs, providing expert advice and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present technical proposals and presentations.
Market Insights:
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market demands in asset management and maintenance.
- Provide input to refine Western Premium’s product and service offerings.
Sales Strategy:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute strategies for business growth.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and other data as required by management.
Requirements
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field) or equivalent technical background.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on technical or engineering solutions.
- Experience in asset management or related industries is highly desirable.

- Strong technical acumen with the ability to simplify complex concepts for clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Proficiency in CRM, CMMS and EAM tools and MS Office Suite.
