JOB PURPOSE
The successful applicant shall be responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness of power vendors by effectively supervising, auditing, and carrying out preventive as well as corrective actions on power infrastructure.
The role reports to the Regional Telecom Manager.
ROLE SPECIFIC
-
Responsible for the delivery of the required Service Level Agreement’s and Key Performance Indicator’s within the service schedules in the zone.

Directly responsible for the Audit of work carried out by Power Vendors and striving for continuous improvement.

Assists in the delivery of the required project activities required by partners within the forecast cost parameters within the zone.

Assists lead and drive continual improvement initiatives and associated actions, with accountability for delivering the associated cost benefit within the zone.

Assists manage the retained Operations delivery team in the zone ensuring Health & Safety compliance across board.

Assists manage power requirements and demands of retained exchanges within the zone.
-
Actively promotes compliance with the Organisation’s codes of practice and any undertakings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
-
Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
-
4-6 years of working in the Telecom Power sector.
-
Detailed knowledge of Telecommunication services, operational Key Performance Indicator’s and processes and an in depth understanding of their relationship to the customer experiences.

Knowledge of engineering and quality standards with high level of troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent skills in MS Office, Data analytics

Must have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Must have an auditor’s eye.

Good interpersonal and communication skills with excellent stakeholder management.

Exposure to a multicultural working environment.
