Business Planning and Strategic Marketing Executive - Menada Haircare

At Menada Haircare, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary Business Planning and Strategic Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in driving our brand forward in the competitive haircare market. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to enhance our brand recognition and market penetration, specifically targeting middle to upper-class men and women with an interest in healthy hair care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Market Analysis:

• Conduct comprehensive market research to understand target demographics, market trends,and competitor strategies.
• Develop a robust business plan focusing on market penetration and brand recognition, setting clear objectives and KPIs.

2. Brand and Product Strategy:

• Craft and implement strategies to position our products as the go-to solution for Afro-textured hair care in the African climate.
• Continuously evaluate product performance and customer feedback to inform product development and improvement.

3. Digital and Traditional Marketing:

• Lead digital marketing efforts, including content creation, social media strategy, SEO, and online advertising.
• Implement traditional marketing strategies, such as events, partnerships, and print media campaigns, to enhance brand visibility.

4. Distribution Network Expansion:

• Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with distributors to expand product availability.
• Oversee supply chain processes to ensure product availability aligns with marketing campaigns and demand forecasts.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

• Manage and mentor a small, agile team, fostering a culture of creativity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other company leaders to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.

6. Budget Management:

• Efficiently allocate and manage the marketing budget, ensuring maximum ROI.
• Regularly report on marketing campaign performance and budget utilization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in marketing and business development, ideally within the personal care or beauty industry.
• In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: GHS 3,000 - GHS 3,500 per month
