We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC technician to install, maintain and repair HVAC systems (Data Centre Precision Cooling units, DX comfort units e.t.c.). The HVAC technician will be skilled in / perform the following tasks: installations, preventive and corrective maintenance/repairs of HVAC systems.
Customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
HVAC Technician Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems and equipment (Data Centre Precision Cooling units, DX comfort units etc.)
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing of HVAC systems.
- Working with the support of HVAC Systems OEM on fresh installations and repairs.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Generate reports for all preventive and corrective maintenance works carried out.
- Carry out prospective job surveys relating to HVAC systems and generate reports for same.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
- Assisting with customers’ queries.

HVAC Technician Requirements:
- Diploma in HVAC Systems or suitable equivalent.
- 3 – 5 years of working experience as an HVAC technician (Precision Cooling Systems)
- Willingness to continuous learning process on the job.
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
- Computer-literacy
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to work at height.
