As the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) expands its operations, it has secured Financial Clearance to hire additional employees into the positions advertised below.
Note: Salary is based on the Single Spine Salary of the Government of Ghana
CHIEF NURSING OFFICER (CNO) / DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF NURSING SERVICES (DDNS) CHARGE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
- OUT-PATIENT DEPARTMENT (Job Ref: OD/07.3819)
- MOTHER & CHILD SERVICES (Job Ref: MCS/07.3919)
- THEATRE. SURGICAL & CSSD (Job Ref: TCS/07.4019)
- EMERGENCY & INTENSIVE CARE (Job Ref: EIC/07.4119)
QUALIFICATION FOR THE ABOVE POSITION
- Registered General Nurse/Midwife as applicable.
- Minimum or first degree in Nursing OR Midwifery as applicable. Masters Degree would be an added advantage
- Relevant academic or professional qualification in the respective
- Proof of Continuous professional development & training.
Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years working experience as a Principal Nursing Officer OR Principal Midwifery Officer as be applicable
- Secondary/Tertiary hospital level experience would be an added advantage.
- DDNS with minimum of 3 years experience on that grade are encouraged apply for CNO positions respectively.
