About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Dentist with at least 5 years of clinical practice to deliver member-centred dental care across our clinics. You will ensure safe dental practices, patient satisfaction, and contribute to operational efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage oral health conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and other dental issues.

• Member Assessment: Conduct thorough dental examinations, order and interpret diagnostic imaging, and develop treatment plans.

• Treatment Oversight: Perform restorative procedures, extractions, preventive care, and monitor treatment outcomes.

• Collaboration: Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal member outcomes.

• Education & Counseling: Provide oral health education, preventive care guidance, and counselling to members and families.

• Accurate Records: Maintain complete and precise dental records in electronic health systems.

• Safe Environment: Promote a safe and positive environment for members and staff.

• WOW Service: Go above and beyond to serve members, prospective or existing.

• Outreach & Enrollment: Support outreach activities and member enrollment initiatives.

• Leadership: Mentor junior dental clinicians and contribute to continuous improvement in dental operations.

Qualifications

• BDS or equivalent dental degree from a recognized institution

• Current and valid license with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council

• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification dental experience

• Strong understanding of oral healthcare systems, insurance benefits, and dental terminology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and healthcare providers

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace, cloud applications, and research tools

• Passion for delivering exceptional member care and improving oral health outcomes
