Job Description

• To provide full-time support to TREE AID's project in the West Gonja District of Savanna Region of Ghana.
• The role will be to work with partners and stakeholders to implement activities on time and within budget, whilst ensuring the expected impacts for targeted communities and the goals of Tree Aid are achieved by initiating innovation in work and good monitoring and reporting.
• Officer shall also assist Country Manager in projects proposal development and perform any other task assigned

Qualification Required & Experience

• Graduate in relevant subject (example, Natural Resource Management, Rural market development, integrated development studies etc). Master's Degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage
• Must have at least 3 years working experience in a similar position of managing projects
• Must have demonstrated leadership skills/ability to work in a team influence others positively
• Must share the vision of TREE AID
• Must have experience in agribusiness. Having experience in market development and analysis (MA&D) modules is a strong advantage
• Ability to work with wide range of stakeholders and communicate with project implementing partners and instil a shared vision with them
• Excellent verbal communication and written skills
• Ability to balance a number of conflicting demands at work
• Must be computer literate - good in excel, word and power point
• Must be confident, hardworking, able to work under pressure and time conscious
• Ability to work independently, self-initiative and with good teamwork and rapport
• Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets including extensive travel in the field
• Must be bold, ambitious, professional, transparent and accountable
• Must have working knowledge in one of the languages spoken in northern Ghana (Gonja)
• Ability to speak French is an added advantage

Location: Tamale, with very regular visits to West Gonja District, Savanna Region of Ghana and in all locations even out of Ghana
