REQUIREMENTS
- BSc in Procurement Management/ Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS).
- Minimum of four (4) years experience in a similar position.
- Diploma in Procurement and Material Management.
- Should have good knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximising manufacturing and distribution of goods.
- Should have an excellent understanding on conducting tests and inspection of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality of products.
- Should have good negotiation skills.
- Outstanding coordination skills.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for .managing customer needs assessment and meeting quality standards for services.
- Ability to maintain complete record of maximum and minimum stores requirements, quotations from suppliers, price changi ng, etc.
- Should be well conversant with economic principles of demand and supply, price, etc.
- Knowledge of foreign procurement process.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Direct or coordinate production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, or financial forecasting services or activities to limit costs and improve accuracy, customer service, or safety.
- Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs
- Direct the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
MAIN DUTIES
- Review or update procurement practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
- Monitor supplier performance to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Develop material costs, forecasts or standard cost lists.
- Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers.
- Collaborate with other deportments, such as engineering, Accounts, Food & Beverage and
- Kitchen to identify or qualify new suppliers.
- Define performance metrics for measurement comparison, or evaluation of procurement factors, such as product cost or quality.
- Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory, reduce waste, or optimise customer service.
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control and warehousing.
- Develop procedures for coordination of procurement management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, food & beverage and kitchen.
- Design or implement procurement process that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
- Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting or materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory.
- Responsible for foreign procurement system.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports to the General Manager.
