Job Summary
The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing and supply of goods and services required for the smooth operation of the company. This role ensures timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining strong supplier relationships and adherence to company procurement procedures.

Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procurement procedures
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts and purchase documentation
- Ensure proper fi ling and audit readiness of procurement documents
- Verify invoices, delivery notes and supporting documentation before submission to finance
- Support compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements where applicable
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Prepare regular procurement reports, including supplier performance, spending analysis and order status updates
- Monitor procurement KPIs and identify areas for operational improvement
- Recommend and implement systems or process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company operational goals
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related fi eld
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain operations, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory coordination
Preferred Profile
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement/reporting tools
- Knowledge of supplier evaluation and contract management
- Proactive mindset with a focus on efficiency, accountability and continuous improvement.
