Job Description
- Job Title : Bilingual Medical Representative
- Department: Marketing
Job Purpose : To provide technical information on all drugs marketed in the organization to all stakeholders as well as make substantial sales on them.
Main Duties :
- Generate prescriptions from Medical Practitioners by scientific promotion of products
- Visit semi-wholesalers, doctors, pharmacy shops etc. as per schedule on daily basis to develop business
- Book orders from doctors, pharmacy shops, hospitals etc.
- Follow up on outstanding payments from pharmacies, chemical shops and other health facilities
- Sell all company products via van sales and issue invoices on every sale appropriately
- Collect all payments made on sales as well as overdue debts and issue receipts to cover amounts paid
- Observe and take information from the field on competitor activities to help Management strategize its sales and marketing activities
- Monitor product availability and movement in various dispensaries and advice technical team on them
- Conduct market surveys and analysis for the production and launching of new products
- Educate Sales Representatives on products to build their capacity to sell all product lines
- Present daily, weekly and possibly monthly reports on your operations on the field.
- Must be fluent in French language
Required Skills or Experience
- Minimum HND with at least four (4) years related experience.
- Advance pharmacy counter assistant certificate with 3 years’ experience in sales.
- Professional Marketing qualification(s) will be an advantage.
