Job Purpose & Summary:
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Information Technology and work closely with the Information Technology team, to develop applications and provide database needs of the Group’s business units.

Required Qualifications:
• An experienced web developer with a minimum of four years in Front-End of applications development in JavaScript, Angular, C#/ASP/MVC.NET and CSS (Cascading Style Sheet).
• Experience in API design and development, USSD service and mobile applications.
• A minimum of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Computer or Software Engineering or ICT related discipline.
• Professional Training and Certification
• Experience in website development on both apache and IIS platforms using languages like ASP.net, C# and common design tools.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Talend, SSIS, informatica etc.
• Hands on Report Development with any BI Tool.
• A minimum of four years of intensive database administration and database reporting in a dynamic environment.

Main Duties:
Under the leadership of the Head of Information Technology, the Web Developer and Database Analyst
will undertake the following duties:
• Design and Develop in-house applications; both Web and Desktop applications
• Manage Web Content and Online client requests and services including supervising and
managing the Group’s EV SSL websites, USSD and SMS applications. Support the principal Senior Software Engineer in developing Front-end of applications and middlewares.
• Configuring hardware and software for staff and users.
• Proficient in Relational Database Management services to support the principal DBA in managing databases.
• Assist in applying patches in a development environment before promoting into Production and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.
• Supervise database backups and restore.
• Other assignments as directed by management.
