The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) is a voluntary, not for profit organization that undertakes advocacy and service delivery in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Ghana. PPAG is an NGO and a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) governed by respectable volunteers. The governing body formulate policies which are implemented by staff. PPAG, a leading provider of information and services, hereby invites result-oriented and committed persons to apply for the following vacant positions to be filled in the Association.

POSITION:       GRAPHIC DESIGNER

LOCATION:      PCHT SERVICES

REPORT TO:     BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

 

JOB PURPOSE:

To provide technical support in Graphic Design activities at the Unit,   is creating transparency between you and the employers. Visit us everyday for latest . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promotes the name, products and services of the unit through the innovative designing
  • Provide technical advice  and support in all work designs
  • Develops and actualizes concepts for clients’ jobs.
  • Ensure that designs are executed to client’s specification and delivered in time
  • Assist in ensuring quality control for all job orders
  • Assist in ensuring clients’ satisfaction
  • Ensures the regular maintenance of office equipment
  • Liaises with Marketing Officer to prepare job dockets
  • Assist in carrying out Marketing and Resource Mobilization activities for the centre.
  • Assist in developing strategic marketing plans for the Association
  • Ensure the judicial use of stationery and equipment
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

 

Required Skills or Experience

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A good first degree in Communication Design or Publishing Studies or HND in Graphic Design or its equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience.

THE PERSON:

  • A good working knowledge in the use of the computer
  • Very good interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Must be honest, transparent, reliable, self-motivated and confident
  • High sense of responsibility, accuracy and judgmental in performing job schedules
  • Must be able to take initiatives and be innovative
  • Must be a team player and accommodating
  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work for long hours and under pressure
