Job Summary:
To architect, develop and manage scalable and commercially viable Converged Unified Communications solutions that address the needs of MTN Ghana’s SME, Corporate and Public Sector customers, from concept through to in-life management.

Key Tasks
Technical Design
- Architect and develop end-to-end Unified Communications solution propositions covering hosted voice/UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, API-based communications, SIP trunking and A2P messaging.
- Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, secure and commercially viable solution propositions.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and support RFP/RFQ responses, including solution sizing, voice and session capacity design, platform selection and commercial modelling.
- Serve as the functional and technical expert on Unified Communications platforms, including call control, session management, endpoint integration, contact centre routing, IVR design, communications APIs and A2P messaging architecture.
Product Lifecycle and Go-to-Market Management
- Maintain the Unified Communications and Converged Services product roadmap, managing the lifecycle from concept and business case development through launch, in-life management and rationalization.
- Lead the concept-to-launch process for Unified Communications solutions, driving alignment across technical, commercial and support teams without direct authority.
- Monitor product performance and support the continuous improvement of Unified Communications propositions based on customer, market and technology developments.
Innovation and Ecosystem Partnerships
- Identify and develop innovative Unified Communications use cases in partnership with ecosystem vendors, independent software vendors and platform providers.
- Co-create solutions for high-value sectors, including banking and financial services, BPO and customer service operations, public sector, hospitality and healthcare.
Sales Enablement and Customer Adoption
- Deliver periodic product and technology briefings to Sales, Client Success and Marketing teams to strengthen their ability to position and sell Unified Communications solutions.
- Participate in key sales engagements and enterprise events as the technical authority for Unified Communications and Converged Services propositions.
- Support Sales and Client Success teams in post-sale engagements to drive customer adoption, usage and penetration across the existing enterprise customer base.
Solution Delivery, Risk and Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate solution delivery from concept through implementation and post-implementation support, ensuring alignment across relevant stakeholders.
- Manage issues and risks within solution delivery projects and proactively communicate progress and status to project teams and B2B management.
- Support best-in-class solution delivery by ensuring that technical, commercial and customer requirements remain aligned throughout implementation.

Qualification Required & Experience
Education:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications required: Unified Communications architecture and platform certification; minimum one active certification such as CCNP Collaboration or Cisco Certified Specialist (Collaboration), Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer Expert, Avaya or Genesys platform certification, or equivalent.
- Additional certifications advantageous: CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in ICT/Unified Communications solutions, enterprise technology, ICT/Converged solution domains,
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
Professional/Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge in Unified Communications (UC) architectures, UCaaS, CCaaS, SIP trunking and PSTN interconnect.
- Knowledge in CPaaS, communications APIs and A2P messaging.
- Knowledge in enterprise ICT and converged solutions, including omnichannel customer engagement and communications-enabled business workflows.
- Knowledge in cloud-native development, deployment and web services technologies, including REST, JSON, XML, SOAP and HTML5.
- Knowledge in enterprise B2B sales cycles, solution selling, outcome-based commercial models, RFP/tender processes and contract structures.
- Knowledge in the Ghanaian B2B ICT and telecommunications market, including telecoms business models and enterprise ICT service delivery.
