The Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) is seeking to recruit five (5) promising final-year students to join our team in our Accra and Tamale offices for the next national service year. The selected candidates will develop an interest in and skills in research, analysis, and advocacy related to Ghanaian and African democratic development and good governance during their stay with us. The selected candidates will be assigned to the following units within the Center;

Research & Knowledge Management Department

Partnerships & Policy Engagement Department
-
Programs Department
-
Publications Unit
-
Monitoring & Evaluation Unit
-
Finance Unit
General Requirements
The ideal candidates must:
-
Be a final-year student starting national service this year
-
Be proficient in the English language (French proficiency is an advantage)
-
Possess strong analytical/writing skills and attention to detail.

Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

Specific Requirements for Various Units:
Research & Knowledge Management/ Partnerships & Policy Engagement/ Programs Departments
-
Final-year students majoring in Social Sciences, Humanities (Political Science/Studies, Sociology, Law, Development Studies, Publishing Studies, and Communication Design)
-
Basic research skills
-
Proficiency in SPSS and other data analysis software is an added advantage
-
Publishing skills (including design, editing and appropriate software)
-
Be proficient in graphic design and design communication
-
Proficient & skilled in using professional cameras
-
Based in Accra and Tamale.
Monitoring & Evaluation Unit
-
Final-year students majoring in Statistics, Development Planning/Studies, and Economics.

Must be based in Accra
-
Be proficient in the use of M&E tools
Finance Unit
-
Final year students majoring in Finance, Accounting or related field
-
Must be based in Accra
-
Knowledge of accounting software
Duration
-
This fixed-term contract will run from November 2026 – September 2027
Remuneration
-
All NSPs receive a monthly allowance and a transportation allowance.
