Key Job Responsibilities
- Account duties
- Manage Forex movement
- Computation & filing of all statutory payments and their payment to the appropriate authorities, including (WHT/PAYE/VAT/SSF tier 1,2,3)
- Manage petty cash accounts at HQ
- General management of cash/bank accounts at HQ and preparation of weekly/monthly cash situation updates
- Bank reconciliation statement preparation for HQ bank accounts
- Manage the Asset Register
- Prepare the year-end financial report for audit
- Process all invoices and payments at HQ
- Permanent Payroll computation at HQ
- General payroll consolidation of all permanent workers
- Tally entries of CEO's cashbooks and bank transactions
- Manage external loans and internal salary advances
- Manage company insurance policies
- Monitor and analyse budget estimates and actual expenditure, and alert management of undue variations
- Manage intercompany accounts
- Supervise the HQ Accounts Assistant in their duties
- Assist in general stock management and stock audits
- Assist in investigations and research for management
- Assist in the end-of-year financial audit
- Assist in the preparation of the annual operational budget
- Data Protection & Compliance Duties
- Responsible for Form Ghana’s Data Protection Program
- Ensure data protection requirements are met in all data processing activities
- Draft and review Data Protection Policies
- Train workers on Data Protection Policies
- Ensure the Data Protection Certificate is always active
- Supervise all personal and general data disposals
- Liaise with NCA for renewal of the Motorola licenses
- Perform any other duties not exceeding your capacity
Job Essentials
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a related field
- Must be a member of ICAG, ACCA, or CIMA
- Must be a Certified Data Protection Supervisor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and forestry information systems
- Must have a valid NHIS Card, Ghana Card and SSNIT Number
- Possessing a valid Driver’s Licence (Class B) will be an added advantage

- Strong knowledge of Ghana's tax and pension regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and supervisory skills

- Effective communication and training delivery
- Knowledge of data protection laws and compliance frameworks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
