Key Responsibilities
-
Assess patients and monitor their general condition and vital signs.

Provide appropriate nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during examinations, procedures and surgeries.

Prepare patients for clinical procedures and provide appropriate post-procedure care.
-
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment, medication and follow-up care.
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and nursing records.
-
Maintain proper infection prevention and control standards.
-
Ensure nursing areas, equipment and supplies are properly maintained.
-
Maintain patient confidentiality, professionalism and good interpersonal relationships.
-
Work effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
-
Perform any other duties assigned by the Nurse Manager or Management.

Qualifications & Requirements
-
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

Must be registered and licensed to practice with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.

Previous nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
-
Compassionate, professional, responsible and patient-centred.
