Role Summary
The Sales Specialist role at SGI Food is a full-time, remote position responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with food importers, distributors, and other key buyers. Daily activities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting outreach via calls and digital channels, preparing quotations, and following up on leads to close sales.

The Sales Specialist will collaborate with internal teams to understand product availability, logistics, and documentation requirements, ensuring accurate information is communicated to clients. This role also involves providing responsive customer service, addressing inquiries and issues, and supporting clients with product training or guidance when needed. Regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback is expected to support strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with customers and internal teams.
- Customer Service capabilities to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Proven Sales experience in B2B or food industry environments, with the ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals.
- Sales Management and Training skills to support account growth, guide partners, and contribute to sales process improvements.
- Knowledge of halal food standards or international food trade is an advantage.
- Comfort with remote work, digital communication tools, and CRM or sales tracking software.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail in documentation and contracts.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
