Cardinal Namdini Mining Ltd. (CNML) is a subsidiary of Shandong Gold Mining Co. Ltd., which is duly listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE). CNML is developing its’ primary asset located in the Upper East Region of Ghana with a strategic vision to build a world-leading, highly valuable and responsible world-class gold mining enterprise.
Job Purpose
The procurement & Logistics officer will have a dual role. The logistics role will include freight handling (offshore & destination clearance) processes. The Procurement role includes supply sourcing, price negotiation, evaluating supply options, creating purchase orders & maintaining purchase records.

GENERAL PROCUREMENT ROLE
- Responsible for the preparation and issuance of Requests for Proposals / Request for Quotes (RFP/FFQs), preparing detailed evaluations and price negotiations.
- Conduct fact-finding and lead negotiations (price, schedules, terms & conditions) with suppliers.
- Pre-award and post-award supplier management activities.
- Promote the use of existing procurement Standard Operating procedures to ensure consistent standards and compliance and further develop areas for process improvement,
- Perform any other related duties based on the exigencies of the Company as assigned by the supervisor.
LOCAL CONTENT ROLE
- The Supply Chain Laison Person for Local Content issues in Collaboration with the CSR Department
- Supporting the Supply Chain Manager to administer the expectations of the LI 2431
- Collaborate with the User Departments to drive Local procurement Spend
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager in Capacity Building for Local-Local Companies
Required Skills or Experience
Minimum qualification(s)
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) with an emphasis in supply chain management, business administration or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Chinese-speaking proficiency will be an added advantage

Experience (Minimum)
- Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in procurement/supply chain role.
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP (added advantage)
- Ability to handle multiple complex requirements in a high-demand environment to meet critical deadlines.
Knowledge (In-depth)
- Logistics will be an added advantage
