Job Objective
To engage prospective and existing customers through outbound calls and drive lead conversion, customer onboarding, revenue generation, retention support, and cross-selling of Hollard Ghana product.
- Report to: Customer Experience Manager
- Job Locations: Accra
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls using assigned leads and call lists to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Clearly explain Hollard products, benefits, exclusions, and pricing in a simple and customer-friendly manner.
- Identify customer needs through structured questioning and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
- Close sales confidently and complete onboarding processes accurately and within defined turnaround times.
- Educate customers on next steps, policy activation timelines, and premium payment processes.
- Work closely with Operations, Underwriting, and Customer Service teams to resolve onboarding issues promptly.
- Mine and analyze customer and prospect databases to identify new sales opportunities and dormant leads.
- Use CRM and call-centre systems to log calls, track outcomes, schedule callbacks, and manage follow-ups.
- Promote trust and long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Accurately document all sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback.
- Submit regular performance reports, including call volumes, conversions, and premium generated
Required Skills or Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, Customer Service, or a related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in telesales, call centre operations, customer service, or direct sales.
- Knowledge of insurance or financial services is an advantage.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and customer engagement skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work with targets and call volumes.
