VIS is an Italian NGO formally recognized by the Ghanaian government since 2015 (the NGO was certified to commence business on 03 June 2016, under the Registrar General’s department of the Republic of Ghana with the registration n. Job Description
- Duty Station: Ashaiman, Greater Accra Region, with missions in the areas of project implementation (Bono, Northern, Western Region).
- Starting: 12/01/2026
- Contract duration: 12 months, renewable

Digitalization and Innovation
- Guide the digital transformation of participating institutions, supporting ICT lab development, e-learning tools, and digital tracking systems for students and internships.
- Advise on strategies for improving the integration of technology into TVET delivery and management systems.
Private Sector Engagement and School-to-Work Transition
- Establish collaborations between TVET institutions and private companies to facilitate WBL and apprenticeships.
- Contribute to the creation of partnerships for curriculum co-design and joint training with industries.
- Provide technical input for the monitoring and evaluation of WBL placements and job insertion pathways.
Policy and External Coordination
- Serve as technical liaison with CTVET and government agencies for the promotion of youth employment, ensuring project activities complement ongoing national programs.
- Participate in coordination and steering committee meetings to provide evidence-based recommendations for systemic TVET strengthening.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Knowledge Sharing
- Participate in internal coordination meetings and working groups, providing technical input to the project’s M&E framework, including quality assurance indicators for TVET delivery.
- Document best practices and contribute to policy briefs and communication materials.
Others
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field;
- Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Technical and Vocational Education, Education Policy, or a related field is an asset;
- Possession of any related certificates e.g. CBT or WBL is an asset.
