Overview:
We’re seeking experienced Drill Service Engineers to support the maintenance and repair of heavy mining and quarry drilling equipment across Africa. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major international mining projects while earning tax-free income for UK candidates.
Rotation: 12 weeks on / 3 weeks off
Sector: Mining & Heavy Equipment
Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair drill rigs and blast hole equipment (e.g. CAT MD Series, Sandvik, Atlas Copco, Epiroc).
- Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and component rebuilds.
- Prepare detailed service and technical reports.
- Uphold strict safety and operational standards on site.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience with heavy drilling or mining machinery.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with OEM diagnostic tools such as CAT ET / SIS preferred.
- Experience with brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Sandvik, or Atlas Copco advantageous.
- Strong English communication and reporting skills.
