Job Purpose
The Medical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling cardiovascular medical devices and products to healthcare professionals and institutions in Ghana. The role focuses on developing long-term relationships with cardiologists, hospitals, and distributors to achieve sales growth and market penetration objectives.
Reports to: Medical Business Unit Manager (Head Office, Lebanon)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Promote and detail cardiovascular devices and solutions to cardiologists, cath lab teams, procurement officers, and hospital administrators.
- Conduct product demonstrations, clinical presentations, and training sessions for medical staff.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both public and private healthcare sectors.
- Ensure proper product availability and coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams.
- Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM.
- Support product registration and local regulatory requirements in coordination with HQ.
- Attend medical conferences, workshops, and training programs when required.
- Build strong professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and decision-makers.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in cardiology or the cath lab field.
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular products and clinical applications.
- Proven sales track record and client management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently within Ghana.
