The position is for hospitality and seeks to hire a competent Accounts Officer with integrity in Greater Accra. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all financial-related activities of the Company as described below:
Responsibilities
- Deal with third parties such as vendors, customers and financial institutions
- Ensure statutory payment such as VAT, WHT, SSNIT, PAYE & Tourism Levy) are paid on timely manner to avoid penalties.
- Assist internal and external auditors for interim and final audit
- Ensure that all procurement procedures are followed for all purchase and value for money
- Verify and make sure that all items purchased come with purchase order before Payment and proper documentation maintained
- General accounting, Cash book reconciliation with bank statement periodically, journal entries of deposits and general ledger maintenance on timely manure for Trail Balance readiness for financial reports
- Audit all point of sales with summaries from the night auditor and forward discrepancies to the Financial Controller for resolution
- Ensure proper filling of documents Daily
- Other duties assigned by the Financial Controller

Required Skills or Experience
- Must have 2 to 4 years of working experience in the hospitality industry
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically required.
- Proven experience in accounting, with preference given to experience in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks and Ezee Hotel software is a plus
- Must be result oriented, a problem solver and trustworthy
