Golden Beam Industries invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of IT Officer.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Respond to user enquiries, providing first-line support for IT-related problems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with computer systems, software applications, and peripherals, offering timely solutions.
- Monitor IT systems for performance and security, performing necessary updates, patches, and regular maintenance.
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring network and telephony infrastructure and implementing IT security measures.
- Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, procedures, and technical support purposes.
- Work with other IT teams to deploy systems, plan upgrades, and implement system improvements.
- Test and evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve the organisation's efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications
- HND or degree
- 2 years’ work experience or more
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
