Job Description
- Department: Marketing
- Location: Accra (with occasional travel to field sites)
- Reports to: Head of Marketing
- Contract Type: 1-Year National Service Placement, with opportunity for future employment
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented National Service Personnel to support our impact measurement and farmer engagement work, and in so doing, better understand how our products and brand are viewed by our end-customers. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate interested in agriculture, data collection, rural development, or marketing.

The Impact Officer will assist the Marketing Department with gathering, organising, and analysing data from farmers and stakeholders to help us better understand and communicate our impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the collection and organisation of personal data from farmers, agri-dealers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain Demeter’s impact database and support Demeter’s tech team in ensuring the data is accurately uploaded and regularly updated in the company’s business intelligence dashboards
- Conduct customer surveys and field interviews (by phone or in person) to gather feedback on Demeter products and services.
- Support the collection of Net Promoter Score (NPS) data and other customer satisfaction metrics.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to support event planning, reporting, and documentation.
- Help conduct impact surveys to assess changes in farmer livelihoods, yields, and input usage.
- Aggregate yield and field data from demonstration sites, farm visits, and internal records.
- Perform data entry and basic analysis using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Uphold data privacy and ethical standards in all data collection activities.
- Provide advice to Head of Marketing on how we might better market our products and brand based on customer feedback, as well as how we might better monitor and increase our social and environmental impact
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Recent graduate (Bachelor’s degree or HND) in Agriculture, Social Sciences, Marketing, Development Studies, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and interest in data and fieldwork.
- Comfortable using Excel, Google Forms, or other data tools (training will be provided).
- Willingness to travel occasionally to farming communities and field sites.
- Willingess to make up to 100 cold calls to farmers in a week, showing motivation to keep calling when farmers don’t necessarily welcome the calls
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Twi and other local languages is a strong advantage.
