GIU International Christian Academy (GICA) is a Christ-centered international school in Tema (Golf-City area), Ghana. We are committed to academic excellence and spiritual formation, equipping students to lead and serve with integrity. We utilize the Cambridge International Education curriculum from primary through A-Levels, blending rigorous academics with Biblical values.
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to teach IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject expertise, a proven ability to deliver engaging lessons, and a passion for helping students excel academically and deepen their faith.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics according to the Cambridge International curriculum.
- Prepare students for internal assessments, IGCSE exams, and A-Level examinations with a focus on academic rigor and problem-solving.
- Integrate Christian principles into teaching while encouraging a love for mathematics and analytical thinking.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, and teaching materials that cater to a variety of learning styles.
- Provide academic support, mentoring, and encouragement to students of varying abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers to support cross-disciplinary learning and contribute to the school’s academic and spiritual mission.
- Participate actively in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree required).
- Teaching certification or an internationally recognized teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at IGCSE and/or A-Level.
- Strong knowledge of Cambridge International Education assessment standards.
- Committed Christian with a heart for integrating faith and academic teaching.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire students to achieve excellence in Mathematics.
