RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recording transactions and expenses on the company’s accounting software.
- File and make statutory payments with the SSNIT, GRA, etc.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and statements.
- Receiving cash payments made by customers and recording in the company’s accounting software.
- Tracking the sales and reviewing the performance of the company’s depots.
- Reviewing and approving credit applications to determine if new customers can be approved or if existing customers should be granted additional lines of credit
- Handling petty cash.
- Reviewing invoice copies to ensure that all information about the transaction is correct before processing the payment.
- Processing invoices, bills, and payments to ensure that all transactions are accurate.
- Communicating with clients about payment options, including setting up automatic payments through electronic banking services.
- Reviewing account information to identify any issues that may need to be addressed by management.
- Receiving incoming calls from clients or customers with questions about their accounts.
- Receiving cheques, recording its arrival in the company’s records, and processing deposits into the business’s bank account.
- Auditing our financial and accounting processes and making necessary recommendations to management.

Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2+ to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge in proper accounting standards and bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of financial information.
- Must be a female
