TSE Role
To maximise user satisfaction and acceptance of the Company’s Parts and Service products for ASTEC, TELESTACK, and SIMEM. The role also supports users in achieving low operating costs by recommending suitable service product options and support programs such as CVA, Reman, Service Exchange, Multiband, etc.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales of Parts and Services
- Maintain regular contact with Fleet, Large, Medium, and Small customers as per call parameters to understand their needs and promote the Company’s Parts and Repair Services.
- Collaborate closely with Sector Managers to stay informed about work in progress, upcoming services, and new offerings.
- Coordinate with the Operations Department to stay updated on inventory status and new product announcements.
- Continuously review Parts and Service sales and technical information to ensure up-to-date knowledge.
- Report all lost sales (Parts or Services) to the Operations Manager and Service Managers.
- Achieve Parts and Service sales targets in line with equipment population and activity levels.

2. Sales Operations & Reporting
- Maintain and update sales control systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Submit timely and accurate call reports.
- Perform undercarriage inspections as required.
- Assist in the development and execution of Parts and Service marketing programs.
- Maintain and manage sales materials and promotional content.
3. Financial & Market Intelligence
- Actively manage collections, including invoice tracking and payment follow-ups.
- Understand and align with both the Company’s and clients’ payment systems.
- Collect and analyze market data, including:
- Projected customer parts requirements for inventory forecasting
- Competitive parts reports
- Machine and Engine Population (MEP) data
4. Personal Development
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous self-development and learning.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in an Engineering discipline
- Specific knowledge of ASTEC products (TELSMITH/BTI/OSBORN), Metso, SIMEM, or TELESTACK is a strong advantage
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
