We are seeking to employ a qualified individual to fill the position of Electrical/Instrumentation Technician in our organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Adhere to preventive maintenance.
- Execute calibration of plant instruments.
- Provide support and enhancement to the company’s health, safety, and environmental system that conforms to legal and standard requirements.
- Participates actively in daily maintenance meetings and assists in ensuring specified continuous improvement in the company’s equipment and operations.
- Inspect and supervise work done by external vendors.
- Prepare reports, maintain records, and requisition supplies and parts.
- Ensure the longer life of obsolete equipment and save funds by carrying out detailed troubleshooting, down to the component level.
- Carry out maintenance, diagnosis, and electrical repair. Troubleshooting of instrumentation on equipment applied by industrial motor controls, pump drives, and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
- Carry out automation troubleshooting and modification,
- Reads and interprets electrical drawings, and mechanical drawings to aid in repair work.
- Ensures safety, technical standards, food safety, company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

Required Skills or Experience
Knowledge
- EET 3 with five years of working experience in the field of Electrical Technician or
- HND with two or more years’ of working experience in the field.
- Applicants should have good knowledge of troubleshooting using engineering drawings and good knowledge in instrumentation.
