McJones Energy, a Company primarily focused on renewable energy and biofuel projects is seeking a reliable graduate to join the accomplished team for their National Service. You will work closely with local professionals and have multiple growth opportunities for career development.

- Solar Energy Services: McJones Energy specializes in designing renewable energy and energy efficiency services for commercial and industrial customers such as food processors, hospitals, hotels, and others. Typical project activities include solar energy system design and installation, Biomass CHP systems, electrical systems and design, and others.
- Rural Electrification using Solar Mini-grids: McJones Energy is working on implementing a rural electrification project, improving Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facilities, and integrating Productive Energy Services like smart agriculture, to support rural development.
- Biomass Waste to Energy: McJones Energy is designing a biomass waste-to-energy project that will convert agricultural waste to biomass pellets, to be used in firing industrial boilers helping to meet the growing energy demand sustainably
YOUR ROLE
- Running regular checks on network and data security.
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
- Ensuring the prompt provision of cost-effective Office IT solutions & services to staff.
- Ensuring all Office IT incidents are cleared within agreed service levels.
- Provide first-line support for office staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain office software applications and operating systems (e.g., Windows, MacOS, Microsoft Office suite, etc.).
- Ensure that software updates and patches are applied regularly to avoid security vulnerabilities.
- Ensure that IT systems and devices meet organizational security standards.
- Troubleshoot and maintain office network connectivity, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN.
- Other duties related to the purpose of the job, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Be a National Service Candidate.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- General understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud services, and databases.
- Willing to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and make independent decisions.
