Boomplay is Africa's leading digital music platform, dedicated to providing users with a rich music experience and cultural entertainment content. We are currently seeking an HR Officer to join our team in Ghana to support local HR operations and contribute to the company’s growth.
Job Description:
As an HR Officer, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations of our Ghana office, ensuring the effective implementation of company policies and processes locally. You will work closely with the headquarters team to provide key employee support services and enhance employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle employee relations matters and guide HR policies, benefits, etc.
- Ensure HR processes and policies comply with local labour laws.
- Support the implementation of performance management and employee evaluations.
- Oversee employee offboarding, and transfers, and ensure smooth transitions.
- Ensure timely payroll and benefits distribution for employees.
- Provide regular updates to headquarters regarding local HR operations and issues.
- Handle Ghana office administration management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in HR, preferably with experience in multinational companies or foreign enterprises.
- Knowledge of labour laws and regulations in Ghana and the West African region.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to handle work-related documents and communications in English.
