Skills Requirement
- Responsible and Self-motivated.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Up to date with International Accounting and Auditing Standards, (IFRS, IAS, ISA, GAAPs).
- Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy.
- Organized, able to prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skill and the ability to lead a team.
- Computer literate - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power point.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute audits according to International Standards for Auditing.
- Prepare financial statements in line with regulatory requirements and IFRS.
- Analyze financial statement accounts and report on trends and reasonableness.
- Perform walkthrough, assess and document the effectiveness of the design and operating effectiveness of controls and propose recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare proposals; budgets and profitability analysis for audit engagements.
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues.

Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of practical accounting and financial statement audit experience with a reputable accounting and audit firm.
- Fully or partly qualified CIMA/ACCA/ICA/GAAP or equivalent.
- At least a second-class Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Tax/ Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics from a reputable institution.
