A Public Service institution is seeking a versatile, proactive and results-oriented person for the position below at its Offices.
JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT IT AUDIT MANAGER
DIRECTORATE: INTERNAL AUDIT
REPORTS TO: HEAD OF DIRECTORATE
SUPERVISES: NIL
JOB LOCATION: ACCRA
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide operational support for the effective and efficient performance of the Internal Audit functions of the Fund.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collects data for the formulation of policies.
- Collates data for the development of the Fund’s audit universe and risk register.
- Responsible for monitoring IT systems to ensure they follow policies and practices.
- Evaluate technology, identify controls and keep records
- Compile a vast array of data into a coherent report for management.
- Undertakes detailed audits of information technology systems and infrastructures to verify systems are secure and support the related applications or business processes.
- Undertakes audit verification assignments.
- Prepares and submits audit findings.
- Prepares and maintains audit working papers for jobs assigned.
- Provides inputs in the review of Financial and Operational Systems
- Prepares internal IT audit reports and submits recommendations.
- Maintain effective internal audit programme and control mechanism for the organization
- Undertake Risk Assessment
- Perform special reviews or projects if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
DIRECT ENTRY
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with Technology or Computerized Accounting or any other related discipline from an accredited tertiary institution
- Part qualification from a recognized and relevant professional body such as ICA-GH, ACCA, CPA or CIMA will be an added advantage.
- Must have completed National Service.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of financial management laws, regulations and fiscal policies.
- Communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of relevant IT applications.
- High integrity and good ethical standards.
