St. Thomas Eye Hospital needs an Accountant at our branch in Tema urgently
Responsibilities
- Process and maintain account payables and receivables.
- Manage petty cash transactions.
- Help with the preparation of quarterly Management Accounts.
- Review and ensure there is approval for all payments.
- Ensures Statutory deduction; PAYE, SSNIT etc. are paid on time.
- Ensures adherence to WHT deductions and payment at the end of each month, and follows up on WHT Certificates.
- Confirm all check payments.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for assigned bank accounts.
- Handle account inquiries from internal and external sources.
- Follow-up with clients on outstanding payments.
Required Skills or Experience
- Qualification: HND or Degree
- Experience: Minimum 2 years post qualification.
- Location: Tema Community 4
- Advantage: Living in the Tema area is a plus.
Salary: Negotiable
