Job Description
- Full-Time Position: 40 Hours per Week
- Parent Position: Operations Manager

Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare a report for each victim on therapeutic procedures administered to migrants, per the requirements of resettlement countries as applicable.
- Compile and submit quarterly inventory returns/requisitions of all drugs and supplies.
- Provide individualized health education and counselling related to health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Attend continuous Medical Education.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly work schedules, and plan daily duties and responsibilities to ensure adequate coverage.
- Compile and submit weekly/monthly activity reports.
- Preparing and facilitating regular health education sessions for victims at the transitional home.
- Monitor and supervise proper usage of medical supplies as well as maintain adequate supplies and buffer stock.
- Participate in health surveys/campaigns as required.
Operations:
- Maintain equipment in good condition and submit regular inventory reports of the same.
- Maintain and update key registers in the assigned area and documentation of client assessment, nursing diagnosis, and outcomes while ensuring the confidentiality of records.
- Ensure that all referral admissions, discharges, transfers, and deaths are properly recorded as they occur and participate in respective audits.
- Report any significant changes in operations to the supervisor.
- Carry out any other additional duties relevant to the job description as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills or Experience
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized and accredited university/institution.
- Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana and must have a valid license.
Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of relevant and demonstrated experience including:
- Training and experience in TB, STDs, HIV/AIDS counselling, and other communicable diseases.
- Handling and following up on medical documents.
- Supervisory experience and proven ability to work as part of a multicultural team.
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), and experience in working with databases and online applications.
- Ability to work after hours (weekends and public holidays inclusive) when emergencies arise.
- Self-starter who can identify and complete tasks with minimum supervision.
