Bitnine (bitnine.net) is a database management system software vendor and data analysis solution provider operating in South Korea, Canada, India, Pakistan and the US.
We are looking for an eccentric and innovative software engineer/architect designing, developing, and enhancing existing RDBMS-based graph database technologies. This position must possess strong software development skills and the development and engineering capabilities of complex system software. A successful applicant must also be able to learn new skills and technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product leaders, software engineers, and developers to determine product scope and direction
- Play a key role in designing and developing new database capabilities, including distributed database, query engine, data storage, and so forth
- Develop new features and functionality in accordance with the product road-map
- Work with the open-source community to deliver value to users and developers and help them meet their technical objectives
- Be an enthusiastic and helpful teammate willing to take and give feedback

Requirements
- Degree in computer science, software engineering or closely related areas
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Familiarity with open-source software (GitHub) development processes and tools
- Excellent team player with good communication skills
- Experience in developing DBMS software technologies (desirable but not required)
