Our client is a leading name in the food and beverage industry in Ghana and Africa.

Scope

The Management Assistant & Core Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new client sales, providing monthly marketing and new/core sales reports and providing a market and sales analysis as well as assisting the General manager in other tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales leads and channels expanding existing customer base, particularly in the hospitality and catering sectors.
  • Manage and monitor sales of existing customers by following up regularly ensuring the full display of the company’s products on store shelves

  • Follow up at least once monthly on core sales and supplies with key customers of the company.
  • Create new clients in identified market segments
  • Lead the company’s media efforts with selected tools and technology
  • Provide timely New Clients & Core monthly sales and market analysis reports.
  • Develop online platform sale channels and report on its progress and activities
  • Develop creative inputs for product knowledge development.
  • Assist with general day to day management of operations in line with sales
  • Support the GM with day-to-day operations which includes running ERP systems which facilitates the preparing of invoices, customer statements of account, collecting payments from key customers and issuing receipts.
  • Advise the company on advertising platforms to engage and develop digital marketing strategies for the company.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an HND in Marketing or in relevant subjects.
  • At least 3 years experience working in sales & marketing roles within FMCG, food & beverage, hospitality etc.
  • Knowledge in general principles in sales and marketing

  • Knowledge in the use of digital tools; social media, SEO, etc
  • Fluency in written & spoken English
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to make decisions quickly
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated
  • Must be proficient in MS Office suite; Word & Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills
