The Trust Hospital is seeking experienced and dynamic staff to fill the following vacancy: Obstetrician Gyaecologist
Key Responsibilities
- Provides medical counsel, support and management of women during pregnancy and childbirth
- Facilitates the development and update of clinical protocols and guidelines for the effective management of patients in the specialty
- Contributes to quality improvement initiatives and strategies to enhance patient care and safety
- Teaches, trains and mentors younger medical and nursing personnel and ensures a progressive academic environment
- Contributes to evidence-based practice in the department

Qualification Required & Experience
The suitable candidate must possess the following:
- Minimum of MBch/MBBS/MD degree and specialised training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Must be in good standing with the Medical and Dental Council
- Must be a Fellow of the Ghana/West Africa college of Surgeons or its equivalent in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Subspecialty with external collaborations with colleagues in the related field outside Ghana is an added advantage
- Additional qualification in health administration or clinical leadership in an advantage
- Must possess considerable strategic, interpersonal and analytical skills with a deep understanding and appreciation of the operational challenges in health sector
- Must be performance-driven and keen to achieve results
- Must be an innovator and a good team player
