The JV Control Officer is to coordinate at corporate Joint Venture, control and reporting activities
Main Responsibilities
To coordinate in a timely and accurate execution of cost controls, preparation of budget and analysis of monthly departmental activity reports in line with modern systems and techniques of forecasting, planning and budgeting, and in conformity with the Joint Venture Operating Agreements, as well as Petroleum Laws and Regulations
Key Activities
- Coordinate the preparation of economic and financial budgets for all corporate and JV activities
- Checks actual revenue and costs incurred against budgets, and analyse resultant variations for control purposes

- Coordinate the preparation of JV and corporate investment plans, economic and financial budgets, and also carnes out economic analysis on investment projects
- Coordinate the determination and development of Budget Procedures, Reports and other activities aimed at improving the flow of information and data regarding the budget function
Qualification/Experience
- University degree in Accountancy and professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA. ACMA, C.I.S
- 6 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience
- Experience in planning and coordination of the Company budget, general accounting activities, fiscal procedures JV agreements and the Production Sharing Contract (PSC)
- Knowledge in Basic Oil and Gas Operations
- Experience in the gathering, collation and analysis of data relative to the preparation of the Company budget
- A good working knowledge of the Company's operations
- Strong conceptual thinking and project management capabilities
