A social enterprise is an organization that uses business strategies to achieve social and environmental goals alongside profit; however, the focus of the organization should be social impact first and profits second.

Founded in 2016, our mandate is to bring together all the players in the social enterprise sector to build a stronger social enterprise ecosystem and increase its impact. Social Enterprise Ghana advocates for business-friendly policies for social enterprises and supports them access to skills, markets, and finance.

Job Description

Social Enterprise Ghana has this position to fill in, to execute a 5 year project aimed at promoting dignified and fulfilling jobs in the agribusiness sector, specifically, in agriculture technical and vocational skills development for young people, especially young girls - Female Accountants with NGO Experience

 
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and analyze budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with programmatic strategies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit all financial reporting documents required by Social Enterprise Ghana and partners in a precise and timely manner.
  • Monitor funds released to TVET training centres, hubs and partner organizations

Required Skills or Experience

  • 10+ years of responsible experience in managing the financials of local NGOs or business networks.
  • Master's degree especially in Accounting and Finance with professional qualifications like ACCA, CA.
  • Excellent skills in Accounting Software - Quickbooks, Sage, Tally, etc.
