Assemblies of God Church East Airport is searching for an Account Officer to fill its job vacancy.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- The Account Officer shall be in charge of the accounting system and report directly to the Manager.
- Prepare Annual Budget and ensure its strict compliance
- Keep good and transparent record of all monies received as well as proper Book of Accounts in computised form
- Arrange the opening of Bank of Accounts for the Guest House.
- Make payments as are duly authorised by the General Manager
- Do pre-auditing of financial transactions and institute internal controls
- Meet all statutory financial obligations, e.g. Payment of Taxes, SSNIT Contributions etc
- Keep petty Cash Book for minor / emergency expenses

- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reviews of the accounts to the Manager
- Prepare and keep an Asset Register (Inventory) under the supervision of the Manager
- Prepare a Financial Statement of the Accounts, annually, showing the exact financial position of the Guest House operations of the church
- Submit the annual financial statement of the accounts to appointed auditors to check all the books and balances and issue a certificate of satisfaction or otherwise, which shall be presented to the Managing Consultants for appropriate action
- Carry out any other jobs which the General Manager may assign from time to time
Job Requirement:
Qualification, Experience, Education, Skills and so on the candidate should possess
- A good university degree or HND Part-qualification of a recognized professional accountancy body will be an added advantage
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office application (Word, Access, Excel, Power Point)
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
