Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ghanaians for the undermentioned position in an international school as Diploma Teacher, French.
JOB TITLE: DIPLOMA TEACHER (FRENCH LANGUAGE)
JOB FUNCTION
To nurture and educate students through effective teaching and learning in the French Language.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare customised scheme of work based on the syllabus
- Set and mark class exercises as determined in the performance target
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations
- Keep records of class work — continuous assessment
- Submit students' exercise books to supervisors/school management

- Test and assess students' performance at the end of each term
- Attend classes regularly and punctually
- Attend all school functions —morning assembly, school durbar, staff meetings etc.
- Submit marked scripts to supervisors for scrutiny before papers are given out to pupils/students
- Take all necessary steps in relation to the care of pupils/students under their supervision, so as to ensure their safety and welfare.
- Comply with agreed school policies and guidelines which aim to promote pupil/student education
- Perform any other duties that may be determined by management
QUALIFICATION
The right candidate must possess the following:
- A minimum of a university Diploma in French plus Certificate/Diploma in Education
- Not less than throe (3) years relevant post qualification experience in teaching French

- Ability to prioritise work
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English Language
- High levels of capacity and an eye for details
- Well-developed interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to work effectively on own and as part of a team
