The Ghana Audit Service is currently recruiting people with the under-listed qualifications and competencies to fill the vacant positions available in its offices across the country (Ghana) as Senior Auditor under IT Audit.
JOB TITLE: SENIOR AUDITOR
JOB SUMMARY
- Undertake a variety of basic audits to confirm that transactions have been made in accordance with the rules and regulations and ascertain their accuracy and propriety;
- Collaborate with the Team Leader in the preparation of audit strategies and programmes for audit assignments;
- Maintain adequate current audit file (working papers).
- Prepare audit observations supported with adequate working papers for submission to the Team Leader;
- Accomplish tasks to meet deadlines; and
- Undertake any other job that may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A qualified accountant with certification as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

- A degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Technology or Computer Engineering from an accredited tertiary institution
- A minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience

- knowledge of finance, relevant public sector laws and auditing standards,
